Here's my belated birthday tribute to Amy Smart. I love how her character is such a genuine friend, with a motherly instinct that kicks in for not only her own kids but the other modern-age JSA members. On time with the second celebratory post: for Jennie-Lynn Hayden/Jade herself, Ysa Penarejo! Wish her a happy birthday on Twitter and/or Instagram (Full gifset here) Jennie gets cheers from one of my besties and I whenever she appears onscreen. Right around then, fans were informed of Courtney Whitmore co-creator Lee Moder's passing. Half the mind between DC's most brilliantly shining heroine. As tribute, I've included one of his drawings above. I created a TikTok filter featuring the Stargirl characters. I'll post some videos using it soon. The first few prompts will be the themes of each season. Try it out for yourselves! The new hub for connection and collaboration on save-stargirl.com has arrived. The forum and groups are here. In fact, I posted about the playlist I'm creating. I could use help to fill in the gaps. Same goes for wardrobe, as the pieces from the show are rarer finds now. The WATCHLIST is another thing that will take a while to build, but all three of these promises will be delivered on. While finishing the edit I'll post today, I saw the comicbook.com article about #Stargirl co-creator Lee Moder's passing. So saddened by this. He helped bring such a brilliantly impactful character into the world. May he rest in peace 💫
